Reginald L. Davis
Reginald L. Davis, affectionately known as “Uncle Reggie” or “Mr. Reggie,” was a devoted and loving member of his community. A proud graduate of Hillside High School, Class of 1983, he carried the Hornet spirit throughout his life.
Reggie was an active and faithful member of Lincoln Memorial Baptist Church, serving in multiple roles with dedication and heart. His generosity extended far beyond the church walls—most notably through his volunteer work at C.C. Spaulding, where he was honored as Volunteer of the Year.
Fondly known as “The Man With No Kids Who Had All the Kids,” Reggie was a mentor and father figure to countless young people. Neighbors called him the “Mayor of South & Erie,” a title earned by his lifelong presence and commitment to his block.
A man of faith, joy, and unwavering support, Reggie touched the lives of everyone he met. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, service, and community lives on.
